Simon Wild — Managing Director

Simon has more than 20 years’ experience in the aviation industry spanning both regional and international travel. An accomplished businessman, Simon has taken what was a small 6 person operation with two aircraft and turned it into a group which now consists of more than 40 aircraft and over 700 employees with assets in excess of AUD $100 million.

With an admirable presence in Cairns, Simon is now leading the way with Skytrans and aims to further strengthen the already solid reputation of the company within the industry.

Simon has tertiary studies in Accountancy, Management and Law and maintains a private pilot licence.

Muralee Siva — Chief Executive Officer

Muralee started with the Group in PNG in 1998 and has held various positions in finance and senior management.

Muralee's major strengths include: corporate finance, system implementation, and management accounting. He has been directly involved with many aircraft acquisitions, company acquisitions, system implementations and financing deals.

Muralee holds a Masters Degree from Southern Cross University Australia and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK. He was also a finalist in the Professional Manager of the Year competition for the Cairns region.

Mike Thinee — General Manager

Mike has over 20 years' experience in the transport industry gained in various Senior Management positions both in Australia and overseas.

As General Manager of Ansett transport operations in PNG, Mike was a key member of the company and achieved numerous successes.

Mike is a central focus of Skytrans, providing hands on advice and support across the board to help drive the company forward.

Karen Heber — Manager of Quality Systems and Auditing

Karen is the Manager of Safety and Quality Systems, overseeing a team of Technical Writers, a Safety Officer and Internal Auditors. Karen comes to Skytrans with over ten years' experience in the aviation industry, holding management roles in both Australian Airlines and Qantas Airways. Karen's strengths lie in Quality Management, Auditing, Occupational Health and Safety, Rehabilitation of Injured Workers into the Workplace, Systems Implementation and Project Management. Karen has successfully completed extensive studies in Quality Management, is a Lead Auditor, and holds a Diploma in Project Management and a Certificate IV in OH&S.

Adrian Smith — General Manager Engineering

Adrian is the General Manager Engineering, overseeing a staff of approximately 150 engineers and support staff both in Australia and Papua New Guinea. Adrian has an extensive work history gathered with numerous companies in Australia and overseas. His experience covers Turboprop aircraft all the way up to Wide Body transport aircraft. He is a licensed Dash 8 Engineer and holds various Delegations from CASA. Adrian's qualifications include an Apprenticeship in Aircraft Electrical and Instrument fitting and Associate Diploma in Electronics Maintenance Engineering. Adrian is also a qualified internal auditor.
